I just took a Sony camcorder and filmed the above.

I have subsequently visited India around 20 times with all manner of projects and JVs for the government and businesses.

With Edwina and Charley, and my hanging baskets! Long time ago.

So, in 2012, I leased a derelict high street shop in South Wales and converted it into a coffee shop with a difference! Just enjoyed creating a great hang-out! A local film company loved it, and I made the best chili hot chocolate!

I don't have a great deal of pics or stuff, so been digging a little in old files to see what I can find so that you can see a little of what I have been doing.

DEHLI India

With all the three existing landfills in the National Capital Territory of Delhi running out of capacity and the State Government announcing new sites for fresh landfills, the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), a nodal environmental body for the Capital, today said landfills were not a solution for the current Municipal Solid Waste crisis in the city
With the highest population size of 1.50 crore, Delhi, has the highest per capital expenditure on solid waste management (Rs 431) followed by Mumbai (Rs 428), Jaipur (Rs 301), Chennai (Rs 295) and Ludhiana (Rs 258), according to an agency report.

BULGARIA

SOFIA, Bulgaria -- The government on Thursday (April 9th) officially declared an emergency situation in the capital over the lack of adequate waste removal.
The cabinet says it is now a matter of national security, according to a report by the ministries of health, regional development and environment.
It concludes that by its inability to end the problem, the Sofia City Council has posed a serious threat to public health and the environment.
Streets have lain under mounds of rubbish for several weeks since the city council cancelled an agreement with the trash-hauling company.

Landfill sites to be full by 2010
Landfill sites for London's non-hazardous rubbish are likely to be full by the end of next year.
New government figures predict other landfill sites in the South East will run out of capacity by early 2013.
Environment Agency estimates showed all London's landfill sites, not just those for non-hazardous waste, had just three years of remaining capacity.
The figures were released in a written parliamentary answer to shadow environment secretary Nick Herbert.
Outside the Commons, Mr Herbert said: "Landfill is an environmentally damaging way to dispose of waste and we are running out of sites anyway.
"We must move to a zero waste policy which reduces packaging, ends dependence on landfill, makes recycling easier and turns the problem of waste into an opportunity to produce materials and energy."

London Mayor Boris Johnson has vowed to try to halt plans to dump 3.5 million tonnes of London's rubbish in the Sussex countryside.
County residents have been told they will have to accept the waste from the capital over the next 15 years, as part of the South East Plan.
But a report setting out London's waste plans, published by Mr Johnson, said the city should not be dumping waste in landfill sites outside the capital.
It said: "We should manage as much of London's waste as practicable within London and aspire that zero waste goes to landfill outside London. It is especially important that we stop the practice of dumping unsorted rubbish in landfill sites outside the capital."
The contents of the report, Leading to a Greener London, are expected to be reflected in London's waste management strategy, due to be published within the next few months.
Arundel and South Downs MP Nick Herbert said the report's emphasis on ending the disposal of waste in landfill sites outside London would be welcomed by residents of West Sussex, which has been told to take 1.92 million tonnes of the capital's waste by 2025. Brighton and Hove and East Sussex have been told to accept 1.65 million tonnes.
However, the Mayor's report also states: "We cannot shift waste management practices overnight and need to plan for the transition especially with the boroughs and the regions surrounding London."
